Edwena Mitchell Catering Pty Ltd is providing the catering for the public for the event. Edwena Mitchell is based at Cudal NSW – a small country town 45km west of Orange. Orange has a wonderful reputation for food and wine – and Edwena Mitchell has been involved in establishing and maintaining that reputation for 25 years. Her involvement in Food Of Orange District (FOOD) Week (NSW premier regional food and wine event) started co-incidentally at its inception 25 years ago.

Edwena Mitchell has always showcased the Orange region’s local produce – several of the wines available at the bar are from Orange – Swinging Bridge Pinot Gris and Printhie 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon – and all of the meat used in all menu items is sourced from the Orange region – including the famous Trunkey Creek Pork and Mandagery Creek Venison. Several items being served at Showcase of Showjumping are signature dishes of Edwena’s including the Twice Cooked Pork Belly on Asian Salad and the small Venison Pies. These can also be found at various Night Markets in Orange throughout the year – but you have to be quick – they sell out fast.

Spencer Chocolate (Mudgee) is being used in the Panna Cotta – and berries snap frozen from Borenore Berry Farm in the baby Cheesecakes. There will be some produce sourced from the Richmond area too – with the Kocanda horticultural connection – and the use of a local bakery.
